In 2012 I worked on 4 short animation sequences for the documentary Captive by Channel 4. It documents the experience of Tanya Kach, who was kidnapped at the age of 14 and kept as a prisoner in her captor’s home for 10 years. Tanya initially idealized her relationship with her captor and believed they would live happily ever after, which was the concept behind these short animation clips.
