In 2007 I made a poster for the first edition of Rock à Ouaga, a music festival that takes place in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso and organized by the Institut Français. My dad lived there at the time and was playing in one of the performing acts. The goal was to create the poster in a classic 70’s rock style with an African twist. The posters were displayed all around Ouagadougou and also used as decorative elements during the festival. Below are some photos of the festival with the artwork in the background.
